Begin with the right questions.

Registration, relevant specialist qualifications and experience with a proposed treatment are separate details to establish.

CGCOM: public doctor-registration search

Open the official resource ↗

For treatment in Spain, ask for the surgeon’s full name, medical-college number and qualification in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. The CGCOM public consultation route and the relevant provincial medical college help check registration and recorded specialty information. Society membership and a clinic’s marketing description are separate from this verification. Confirm the exact operating hospital, as the consultation office may not contain surgical facilities. Request an itemised euro quotation, information about anaesthesia, and written arrangements for routine reviews and urgent postoperative concerns. Discuss the alternatives, realistic limitations and possible need for revision before paying a deposit. If travelling, plan the return journey around the clinical team’s individual advice.

Check medical registration and the recorded specialty; ask the provincial medical college if anything is unclear.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use EUR. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
