Albanian Order of Physicians — physician register

The Albanian Order of Physicians publishes a physician register and regional contact routes. A clinic’s business licence and a doctor’s specialist qualifications are different checks. Ask for the operating surgeon’s full name, Albanian professional authorisation, documented surgical specialty and the actual operating facility before paying a deposit. Some clinics offer visiting international surgeons, so establish who will provide follow-up when that surgeon is away. Request written information on anaesthesia, postoperative contact, management of complications and the total fee. The national currency is the Albanian lek; if a quotation is in euros, ask which currency you will pay and how any conversion is calculated. This directory does not independently confirm an individual licence.

Check the physician’s identity and specialty, and ask the Order to confirm current licensing.
