Norway’s public Health Personnel Register records professional authorisations and specialist approvals. Review the current entry and any relevant restrictions. A national clinic group may offer different services at different branches, so match the clinician, procedure and operation address rather than relying only on the group name. Ask for a written plan covering alternatives, anaesthesia, the operating facility, the total quotation and follow-up. Discuss how complications would be assessed and who can be contacted after hours. If travelling, agree the review schedule and recovery accommodation before paying a deposit. An editorial profile is a starting point for consultation, not confirmation that a procedure is suitable for you.
