Begin with the right questions.

Registration, relevant specialist qualifications and experience with a proposed treatment are separate details to establish.

Medical Chamber of Serbia — licensing information

Open the official resource ↗

The Medical Chamber of Serbia describes its responsibility for medical membership, licences and professional records. Check the proposed operating surgeon’s identity and current licence through the Chamber and ask the practice to document the relevant specialty. Cosmetic medicine and plastic-reconstructive surgery are not interchangeable descriptions. Confirm the physical address where the procedure will occur, the anaesthesia team and the arrangements for postoperative assessment. When travelling from another Serbian city or from abroad, ask how follow-up and unexpected complications will be handled after departure. Request an itemised total quotation and cancellation terms before paying. Serbia uses the dinar, ISO code RSD. If a clinic quotes in euros, clarify the currency and conditions of actual payment.

Ask the Chamber to verify current licence details and the specialty of the proposed operating surgeon.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use RSD. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
