02 / Professional checks
Registration, relevant specialist qualifications and experience with a proposed treatment are separate details to establish.
Doctor licensing in Bosnia and Herzegovina should be checked with the chamber responsible for the location of treatment. The Federation Medical Chamber lists cantonal contacts; the Republic of Srpska has a separate medical chamber. These are not one nationwide licence search. Ask the provider which chamber covers its surgeon and request current specialist credentials. Confirm whether a service treats reconstructive conditions, elective cosmetic concerns or both, because a hospital plastic-surgery department is not necessarily a commercial aesthetic clinic. Request precise consultation and operating addresses, referral requirements, anaesthesia arrangements and a follow-up plan. Obtain a written quotation in convertible marks or an explicitly agreed currency. The national currency is the convertible mark, ISO code BAM.
Ask the chamber responsible for the office location to verify the surgeon’s specialty and current licence.
03 / Consultation planning
Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.
City worksheets use BAM. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.
