Its surgical outpatient page describes general surgery and related services; it does not establish a dedicated local cosmetic-plastic-surgery service. A mainland appointment should be planned as travel care, with the receiving hospital and follow-up arrangements agreed in advance. Ask for a written plan covering alternatives, anaesthesia, the operating facility, the total quotation and follow-up. Discuss how complications would be assessed and who can be contacted after hours. If travelling, agree the review schedule and recovery accommodation before paying a deposit.
