Medical Council Malta: Health Professional Search

Open the official resource ↗

Medical Council Malta provides an online search with fields for profession and specialisation. Check the named clinician’s registration and relevant specialist entry rather than relying only on a clinic’s advertising or an overseas qualification. Where a surgeon visits from another country, confirm the dates, who provides continuity of care and whether the proposed operation takes place in Malta. Ask for the exact consultation and operating addresses, anaesthesia arrangements and a written plan for routine and urgent postoperative assessment. Obtain an itemised quotation in euros and clarify what happens if further treatment is required. Discuss alternatives, recovery needs and realistic limitations before making a booking.

Check both medical registration and the relevant specialist entry for the clinician who will treat you.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use EUR. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
