Slovak Medical Chamber — physician register

Open the official resource ↗

The Slovak Medical Chamber maintains a physician register with searches requiring the doctor’s first name, surname and specialization. Regional e-VÚC directories can help confirm the registered provider, specialty and operating address of an outpatient service. Use these resources alongside a direct discussion with the clinic; neither a directory entry nor a website photograph establishes suitability for a particular operation. Ask which surgeon will treat you, where surgery occurs and whether a referral is required for the planned consultation. Obtain a written quote in euros, including anaesthesia, facility charges and follow-up. Discuss scars, limitations, recovery arrangements and how urgent problems will be handled after discharge or after returning home.

Use the doctor’s first name, surname and specialty to check the register and clarify qualifications.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use EUR. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
