02 / Professional checks

Begin with the right questions.

Registration, relevant specialist qualifications and experience with a proposed treatment are separate details to establish.

Roszdravnadzor — Unified Register of Licences

Open the official resource ↗

Roszdravnadzor provides the Unified Register of Licences for medical organizations and individual providers. Check the intended treatment site and relevant clinical activities, not only a clinic’s trading name. Facility licensing does not independently verify every surgeon’s current specialist accreditation or suitability for a particular operation. Ask who provides anesthesia, where postoperative monitoring takes place, who responds to urgent concerns and which follow-up appointments are included. Request an itemized quotation in the agreed currency and a written explanation of alternatives, risks and recovery. This directory is an editorial starting point, not a credential guarantee or a recommendation to travel.

Match the clinic’s legal name, treatment address and authorized activities; ask separately for specialist accreditation.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use RUB. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
