Supreme Medical Chamber · Central Register of Physicians

Open the official resource ↗

Poland’s Supreme Medical Chamber provides a public Central Register of Physicians for checking a doctor’s professional rights. The PWZ number helps distinguish people with similar names. Professional-society membership can add context, but it should not replace a check of specialty and current professional standing. Ask for a written plan covering alternatives, anaesthesia, the operating facility, the total quotation and follow-up. Discuss how complications would be assessed and who can be contacted after hours. If travelling, agree the review schedule and recovery accommodation before paying a deposit. An editorial profile is a starting point for consultation, not confirmation that a procedure is suitable for you.

Check the physician’s name, PWZ professional-right number and listed specialty for your own care decision.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use PLN. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
