Registration, relevant specialist qualifications and experience with a proposed treatment are separate details to establish.

Estonian Health Board · MEDRE register

Open the official resource ↗

Estonia’s Health Board registers healthcare professionals. MEDRE provides searches by name, profession and specialty. A clinic’s advertising and a doctor’s professional registration answer different questions: confirm the individual’s specialty and the institution’s authorised services before booking. Ask for a written plan covering alternatives, anaesthesia, the operating facility, the total quotation and follow-up. Discuss how complications would be assessed and who can be contacted after hours. If travelling, agree the review schedule and recovery accommodation before paying a deposit. An editorial profile is a starting point for consultation, not confirmation that a procedure is suitable for you.

Search the clinician’s name, profession and specialty and confirm the clinic’s service licence separately.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use EUR. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
