Kosovo Medical Chamber — membership and licence list

Open the official resource ↗

The Kosovo Medical Chamber publishes a member list with professional status, licence numbers and expiry dates. Use the exact physician name when checking records and ask the clinic which doctor will actually operate. If a visiting foreign surgeon is proposed, ask which authority issued that doctor’s permission to practise locally. A consultation listing does not establish that major surgery occurs at that address: request the name of the operating hospital, anaesthetist and postoperative contact. Clarify how follow-up will work after you return home and obtain an itemised quotation before booking travel. Kosovo uses the euro as its de facto domestic currency; this does not mean it is a member of the euro area.

Check identity, professional status and licence expiry, and contact the Chamber for current confirmation.

03 / Consultation planning

Prepare before you commit.

The actual location

Check the published office city. Ask whether consultation, surgery and follow-up use the same facility.

Your written quote

City worksheets use EUR. Confirm the quote’s currency, taxes, inclusions and exclusions; no local treatment prices are estimated.

Your care arrangements

Discuss alternatives, important risks, aftercare and practical support directly with the treating team. Use international resources for further questions.
