Dr. Mark Fetter, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon serving Prescott and communities throughout Northern Arizona. As medical director of Advanced Plastic Surgery Center, he provides cosmetic, reconstructive, hand, and nonsurgical aesthetic care with an emphasis on patient safety, individualized planning, balanced proportions, and natural-looking results. His practice combines extensive surgical experience with an accredited clinical environment designed to support patient privacy and continuity of care. Dr. Fetter has practiced in Prescott since 1996 and treats patients seeking facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, body contouring, reconstructive procedures, and treatment for hand and wrist conditions.
Dr. Fetter earned his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He subsequently completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, followed by specialized residency training in plastic surgery at Cleveland Clinic. To broaden his expertise in complex hand and upper-extremity conditions, he completed a hand-surgery fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. This combination of general surgery, plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and fellowship-level hand training supports a comprehensive approach to both aesthetic improvement and functional restoration.
Dr. Fetter is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His professional background also includes service as a faculty member at Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and as an active staff member at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. These academic, hospital, and professional affiliations reflect his longstanding participation in surgical education and the broader medical community. His Prescott facility has also satisfied accreditation criteria established by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, supporting an organized environment focused on surgical standards and patient safety.
His aesthetic practice encompasses procedures for the face, breasts, abdomen, and body. Facial options include facelift surgery, forehead and brow lifting, eyelid surgery, neck rejuvenation, facial implants, fat transfer, and treatments intended to improve age-related changes while preserving recognizable facial character. Breast procedures include breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, implant revision, breast reconstruction, correction of asymmetry, and male breast reduction. Body-contouring options include tummy tuck surgery, liposuction, body lifting, arm and thigh contouring, and personalized combinations for patients addressing changes following pregnancy, aging, or substantial weight loss.
A notable dimension of Dr. Fetter’s practice is his additional expertise in evaluating and treating hand and wrist disorders. His fellowship training allows him to address functional concerns alongside cosmetic and reconstructive needs. During consultation, each treatment plan can be developed around the patient’s anatomy, medical history, lifestyle, expectations, and recovery considerations. This individualized process is especially important when determining appropriate surgical techniques, implant choices, incision placement, scar management, proportional goals, and whether surgery or a nonsurgical alternative is most suitable. Patients should receive a clear explanation of potential benefits, limitations, risks, recovery requirements, and expected outcomes before proceeding with treatment.
