Dr. Shannon O’Brien, MD, FACS, is a Portland-based, board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures for the breasts, body, and face. Practising with Portland Plastic Surgery Group, she is known for developing individualized surgical plans based on each patient’s anatomy, personal concerns, lifestyle, and aesthetic objectives. She completed a competitive six-year integrated general, plastic, and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and served as Chief Resident during her final year. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2009, Dr. O’Brien is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
